Olson’s Closer: The Layered New-Order Finale

Introducing Olson’s Closer, the incredibly powerful, multi-phase card effect co-produced with American magician Erick Olson.

The magician begins by handing two prediction cards to the audience for safekeeping. He then displays a thoroughly mixed deck, invites a spectator to freely select and memorize a card, return it, and give the deck a shuffle.

He immediately reads the spectator’s mind to reveal the chosen card: the Ace of Spades. In the next moment, he locates not only the Ace of Spades but also the Aces of all three remaining suits.

The sequence builds further as he produces additional Spade court and value cards: 10, J, Q, and K. Then, in a flash, the remaining Spades from 2 through 7 appear as well.

Only Spades 8 and 9 are missing. The magician directs attention to the prediction cards held by the audience since the beginning. When turned over, they are revealed to be the exact missing Spades.

For the finale, with a snap of the fingers, the entire previously disordered deck instantly restores itself into the pristine, factory-ordered stack of a brand-new deck.

Olson’s Closer unfolds in clear, escalating phases, delivering a fresh hit of magic at every beat. The routine feels rich and dynamic from start to finish. It is remarkably easy to handle, and only light practice is needed to perform the full effect. No advanced card technique is required.

Made using Triumph Playing Cards and comes with a matching standard Triumph deck. Both the custom and regular decks feature a silky, durable finish that handles beautifully.
