A single folded piece of paper is shown to the participant, and the performer explains that it is the code to the performer’s gym locker combination padlock.
The participant names a random three-digit number.
When the paper is opened, it shows the combination padlock code is the same as the one named by the participant.
The performer then removes a set of keys that has the combination padlock on it, the code is placed into the padlock by the participant, and it opens.
This is guaranteed to work every single time and no special items are required.
