Jamie Daws - Naughty or Nice

During the festive season, magicians spend a lot of time re-inventing their working repertoire to create unique festive presentations. There are few bespoke seasonal effects that work for both young and old alike!

'Naughty or Nice' is a real Christmas miracle and is a super-commercial effect designed from the ground up for the festive season! What's even better is, everything is structured and routined in a way that you can focus on your presentation.
​
Since Santa is extra busy this year, he hasn't had the opportunity to check his list twice! So his Elves have developed a little 'Naughty or Nice' number generator! This generator grades their naughty or nice number and tells them what will happen to them this Christmas!
​
Two spectators each shuffle up a deck and take a pile of cards for themselves. They then 'rate' how naughty or nice they have been this year. One being naughty and Ten being nice! Laughter inevitably ensues when one turns out to be naughtier than the other!

The random cards on-top of their piles are shown and their score is determined from the Elves game card. However, it tells them they are only getting coal this year!
​
A lump of coal is pulled out of the performers pocket and shown to the spectators.
​
"We need a Christmas miracle!"
​
The performer then realises there is something written on the back of the card...
​
"CHRISTMAS COMES ONLY ONCE EVERY YEAR. IT'S MEANT TO BE SPENT WITH THE ONES YOU HOLD DEAR. YOU DESERVE ALL THE HAPPINESS THAT IS COMING YOUR WAY SO DON'T FORGET THIS MAGICAL MOMENT AND THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS DAY!"

Next to it are two cards, the same ones randomly selected! IT IS A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!

Finally, the lump of coal magically turns into a lolly pop for your spectators to enjoy! (This part requires an additional something discussed in the PDF)
