Underground Penny Bend by Steve Pellegrino

Coin bends have come and gone over the years. There are clever gimmicks that will allow you to bend almost any coin. Traveling around the mentalism underground for years has been a technique for bending a penny without these gimmicks, a very clean coin bend. The secret is known to a few mentalists, but has never been widely distributed. (Another description of the same method can be found inScott Xavier Q-Bend video. )

Imagine a coin bend that does not require a gimmick or a switch. The Underground Penny Bend will allow you to take a penny from the handful of change a spectator holds out in their hand, have it marked, the date noted and with your mental abilities be able to bend that exact coin! The coin can be immediately handed back to them to keep.
