Dr. Daley was a preeminent plastic surgeon in the New York area. But to magicians, he was one of the fabled Inner Circle of the 1940s and 50s. Other members included Dai Vernon, Sam Horowitz and the east coast card men of legend. Noted for his technically sophisticated and challenging routines Daley was a real Star of Magic. His most famous routine today would be Dr. Daleys Last Trick. A collection of his material can be found in the collection Stars of Magic published by D.Robbins.
