Once the gimmick has been customized for a certain colour / type of trousers, can it be "re-customized" to match another or does it remained fixed thereafter?

You can re-customize it very easy, but there will be no need for it because Merchant of Magic include 2 gimmicks!

"The reset is truly seconds and the original set up is not unreasonable.
To be super critical it is a true "moment of astonishment" type effect, it is over in second and you must choose your moment. There is most assuredly no alteration to your clothes but the set up that you wear to perform the "classic" version (several alternative are taught) may not suit everyone as a "have it with you at all times" sort of effect. You may not want to have a credit card or keys etc. around part of the gimmick as the creator accurately states in the instructions.
I am certain I will perform this but as a non-pro who carries around a deck of cards and a silver dollar .. " Xcath1
