Spectator Finds His Card by Dani

Lesson 11 of The Chaos Project by Dani DaOrtiz features a stunning multi-card revelation in which the deck is shuffled so often that true magic is the only explanation. Welcome to Dani DaOrtiz's Chaos Project.

What it is.

The incredible multi-card scene begins with a deck of cards borrowed from a spectator. The spectators shuffle the cards and then one spectator thinks of a number and secretly shares that number with the other spectators. The magician shows the spectator's cards one by one and the spectator memorises the secret number on the playing card. The magician then shuffles and cuts the cards and hands them back to the spectator. A second spectator remembers the card at the secret number. The deck is shuffled and handed to a third spectator, who cuts to the centre of the deck and remembers a card there. The deck is then distributed to all spectators and thoroughly mixed and shuffled. The magician then throws a set of cards onto the table while the first two spectators randomly call out to stop. The card they stopped on is removed from the deck. The last spectator to assemble the deck places it under the table, removes a card from it, and places that card on the table. Impossibly, despite the chaos, all three spectators just thought the card had been found.
