In this quick cards-across style routine, John begins by fairly counting seven cards from the top of the deck into a pile. He then pantomimes removing an invisible card from the deck and adding it to the pile. When he counts the cards again, to everyone's amazement, there are now eight! This magical effect is repeated two more times, each time adding another "invisible" card to the pile, until the total reaches ten. Finally, with a wave of his hand, John makes the three extra cards vanish as suddenly as they appeared, turning them invisible once again!
