What

The magician shuffles the deck, then asks the audience to grab a pile of cards from anywhere in the deck, which they then shuffle the stack under the table. Then the magician starts dealing cards on the table, and the others say stop; they take a small deck of cards, shuffle them, and choose from the deck which cards to keep or discard. They do this for the entire deck and end up with a small pile. The second spectator puts their stack back on top of the table. Each spectator then counts the number of cards in his or her deck, and each deck cannot have the same number of cards. Then, even more coincidentally, both decks contain each other's partners in exact matching order.
