Cunning Stunts by Tim Ellis & Sue-Anne Webster

The DVD will be titled 'Ellis & Webster's Cuning Stunts' and feature over 50 simple tricks, jokes and bets that anyone can do to perk up a party. The idea came together because of the repeated requests we get from people to teach them a trick they can show their friends. Now realistically they aren't prepared to spend the time required to understand, rehearse and present a complex magic effect, so we've concentrated on simple bar bets and "gotcha" stunts where once you see it done, you can immediately go off and perform it on someone else.

Co-producing this venture with us is the ever reliable Ben Whimpey and Orsino Images who, despite being under the weather after a weekend of providing AV support in freezing conditions in Warragul, soldiered on as we filmed a seemingly never ending collection of stunts.

Thanks also must go out to the owners and staff of the Urban Groove cafe in Greensborough for letting us shoot at their venue (and even getting involved in some of the gags themselves!)

Finally extra special thanks go to the MUGS who turned up to support us by acting as participants in the bar bets and tricks. Despite knowing how most of them were done already (and acting surprised again and again on countless retakes! *g*) they really helped to give the viewers an idea of the kind of reactions they can expect when trying these effects out on their own friends at parties, clubs, pubs and the office. Thanks to Tammii & Tim, Tristan, Raymond and especially Brendan who travelled all the way in from Red Hill. I'm sure you'll be able to read his side of the shooting on his blog very soon!

Meanwhile, we go into editing next week and hope to release 'Ellis & Webster's Cunning Stunts' at our public show on July 6. After that date it will be available through our website .
