One card is chosen and shuffled back into the deck. 4 cards are then taken out in the hope one of them is the spectators chosen card, the performer is unaware that none of the cards he has taken out is infact the selection. The performer places one under the box, the one her presumes is the selection. When the card is named, the card under the box is turned over and shown to be the selection! Then the other 3 cards and turned over and show to be the mates of the selection
