Tired of impressing people by finding their cards with the same old trick? Then you’ve come to the right place. This trick uses the penetration effect and prediction in a completely new way. Start by asking a spectator to choose a card, then explain that your deck is different because of a hole. Next, show them that the Sharpie can pass through it. Then, place the deck in the box, and as if by magic, the Sharpie passes right through. Prove to them that the deck is intact, except for one card. This card has a hole, and miraculously, it’s the card they chose.
