Lobster Dog (Close-Up and Stage Versions + Customizing Your Own Routine)
Someone picks an animal (let’s say it’s a lobster) and you open up a prediction reveal…a photo of a dog. The audience thinks you’ve messed up. But then you reveal the full poster and show the dog is wearing a lobster costume. You’ll learn the force and switch techniques, as well as the no-special-app-needed Digital Force Bag-style forcing method Nick uses in his parlor and stage shows. The necessary photo files to perform the trick as written are included. However, as you’ll see, this routine can also be easily customized.

Modern Miser’s Dream
A fun, streamlined version of the Miser’s Dream using a Mikame gimmick. An approachable and entertaining version that will make you fall in love again with the timeless classic.

Dad’s Aces
An entertaining four-Ace routine where the Aces are not only found but are also revealed to have special designs printed on their backs. Inspired by David Copperfield’s “Grandpa’s Aces” (aka “MacDonald’s Aces”) and refined with help from Jon Armstrong and Siegfried Tieber.

Nick shares insights on scripting your magic, using universal truths, knowing when to talk and not talk, as well as properly using music (and silence) to your advantage Drawing on his experience writing for Magic For Humans, he’ll show you how to develop your character and create a soundtrack that is a character in itself (without being distracting).

Running Your Own Music / Video
Learn how Nick runs a full theater-quality show by himself using tools like GoButton, QLab, and AudioApe. From music cues to video clips, Nick shows you how to operate everything smoothly from your pocket. Don’t be intimidated. It’s not as complicated as you might think.
