using a borrowed deck the spectator freely chooses a card, signs it, puts it back in the deck and mixes the deck. then he places the deck inside his own pocket. this gives the magician any number from 1 to 52 to choose from.
the spectator's choice is absolutely free.
the magician now slides his hand into the spectator's pocket and withdraws the signed card that had been lost in the deck!
