The performer ostensibly is relating a bit of history regarding how a card trick was performed in the 16th century. In the course of the explanation, he acts as a proxy for skeptical spectators who desire that the puzzling feat be repeated??not once but several times.

This synergistic routine consists of four phases, each one seeming better or more challenging than the preceding one. There are various step-by-step enhancements??not only in terms of overall deception, but also in virtue of their theatrical aspects.
