Kids Magic - The Strolling Magicians Lesson 4

If you’re a regular strolling magician, you’ll know the situation all too well: you arrive at an event expecting to perform for adults, only to discover there are children there too and suddenly, you need material that will work for a much younger audience. Many working magicians simply aren’t prepared for this. But the more often you perform at weddings, parties, corporate events and private functions, the more likely it is that you’ll find yourself entertaining children when you least expect it.

You might assume that performing for kids means buying a whole new collection of colourful props and child-specific magic. It doesn’t. Children have different attention spans, respond to different presentations and often won’t appreciate the subtleties that make an effect powerful for an adult audience. The secret is knowing how to adapt the magic you already perform.

That’s where Wayne Goodman comes in.

With decades of experience entertaining younger audiences, Wayne will show you how to take effects you already know and love and make them work brilliantly for children. Tricks you perform every day for adults can, with a few clever changes to the presentation, become engaging, entertaining and memorable pieces of magic for kids. You won’t need to completely change your repertoire or carry a separate case full of children’s props. Instead, you’ll learn how to adjust your existing material so you can confidently handle younger spectators whenever they appear.

If you’re a professional strolling magician, this course is an essential addition to your toolkit, giving you the confidence, techniques and practical knowledge to entertain children whenever the situation arises.
