“Heartless” is a fun and fast transposition routine that leaves your spectator with a unique souvenir.
A card is selected and lost in the pack. The spectator holds an indifferent card under a rubber band in their palm. With a gesture, the card changes—but not into the selection. Instead of their chosen card, the Three of Hearts, it is missing a pip, the Two of Hearts. Alex reveals that the missing pip is stuck to the back of the band on their hand the whole time, completing the transposition and leaving them with a unique souvenir.
