Here’s what happens:

1. A card is selected, signed, and lost into the deck.

2. With a magical gesture, it instantly jumps to the top of the deck.

3. To up the ante, this is repeated, but with a paperclip added to the card to mark which one it definitely is.

4. The paperclipped selection is placed on a table, and a joker is waved over it. The joker transforms into the signed card, and the paperclipped card becomes the joker.

5. Under the most impossible conditions, the spectator folds the card into quarters and secures it with the paperclip.

6. You fold a dollar into a small packet and secure it with a paperclip.

7. The bill is placed into the spectator’s closed fist and you hold the card at your fingertips. In an instant, the card transforms into the bill. The spectator can immediately open their hand to discover their signed card locked in a paperclip.
