Del-Ardo's Private Sealed Envelope Reading Method by W. G. Magnuson & Devin Knight

Del-Ardo was a professional medium of the old school. He developed many ways to read messages in a sealed envelope, but this was his favorite method and was the one he used most. This is also the same method that was used by psychic, Jason Michaels, during his career, with a few of his improvements. Devin Knight is still using this improved method to this day.

This method is also being used by phony mediums today who are working the spiritualist churches and camps because it is almost 100% foolproof and there is almost no chance of getting caught cheating. The method is that good.

A plain ungimmicked blank business card is given to the sitter, upon which she writes one or two important questions and then signs her name. Only one side of the card is written on and she is told to place her card on the table with the writing down. The psychic then takes the card, face down and inserts it in a coin envelope which remains in full view; it is immediately given to the sitter to seal and examine, making sure it is opaque.

Almost immediately, without touching the envelope, the psychic or medium calls the sitter by name and answers her secretly thought-of questions! Looks like real psychic powers.

Why bother with expensive peek wallets that look suspicious when you can achieve the same results with an innocent appearing coin envelope that the sitter can examine and make sure it is opaque and free of slits. This is one of the quickest and slickest ways to get the information inside a sealed envelope. This handling will fool many magicians who know other methods. This is as clean as it gets and is 100% practical for today's performers.
