Sometimes it's really hard to bring an old idea into the 21st century. Eric did exactly that with Cyclops. As a mentalist/magician you use playing cards as bookmarks all the time. That makes it completely logical to use one in a booktest.
You use a hole-punch to punch a hole in a freely selected playing card and use the hole as a focal point for your spectators to choose a word from inside a freely chosen book. Any book...Any page.Any line! And you know exactly which word they are thinking of.
