Description

The performer shows two blank cards, each having a 1 inch hole in its center. He places an Ace of Diamonds between the two, the diamond pip being clearly seen through one of the holes. This “Ace in the Hole” is set to one side as the magician then deals 5 cards from a deck and displays a near-perfect straight flush K,Q,J, & 10 of Diamonds…and…sigh… one odd and useless card.

Reminding the audience that he has an Ace of Diamonds in the “Hole” he holds the sandwiched card up so the pip can be seen…and simply flicks the cards. The Ace is then visually replaced by the odd and useless card in his poker hand. He spreads the “hole” cards immediately to let the changed card be revealed…and then.. spreading the hand seen before.. shows that his Ace in the Hole has magically replaced the bad card in his straight flush! Visually stunning, with a very satisfying plot…and easily learned! This is a beautiful effect!
